Social Care Worker – Co Meath

Allied Health Careers is working with a well-established organization that provides person-centered services to adults with intellectual disabilities and autism, helping them to reach their full potential and connect with their communities.

As a Social Care Worker you will play a key role in facilitating and supporting individuals in Day Services while upholding the organization’s core values of providing respectful, progressive, professional, and positive services.

Location: Day Services – Co. Meath

Hours: Part time and Full time

Salary Scale: €36,391 to €52,444

Contracts: Permanent and Specified purpose roles available

The Role:

  • Facilitating and supporting individuals in Day services.
  • Ensuring compliance with organizational policies, procedures, national policies and legislation, organization and any other applicable standards.
  • Providing respectful, progressive, professional, and positive services.
  • Undertaking any duties as required in the provision of care and support of service users.

The Person:

  • Degree level qualification in Social Care or closely related discipline (QQI Level 7 / 8).
  • Ideally at least 1 years’ experience working in disability services, with knowledge of New Directions Services & Supports for Adults with Disabilities.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • A full driver’s license is required for some of these positions.
  • Eligible to work in Ireland on a full-time basis.
