Senior Occupational Therapist – CDNT

Allied Health Careers is working with a renowed organization that supports individuals with disabilities and their families. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will work as a member of the interdisciplinary team in collaboration with MDT colleagues providing services to children from 0-18 years and families who are accessing the Children’s Disability Network Team.

The Senior Occupational Therapist will be responsible for the provision of an occupational therapy service to include assessment diagnostics and intervention and ongoing service delivery to children with complex needs and their families.

This is a full-time, permanent role, 35 hours per week.

The Role:

  • Take a lead role in key areas of service development, reporting to the CDNT manager. Professional clinical supervision will be provided.
  • The ability to manage and prioritize a busy caseload.
  • Work in an inter-disciplinary way using a family centered practice approach.

The Person:

  • Hold a qualification in Occupational Therapy recognised by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU – candidates must state CORU registration number on application.
  • 3 years post-qualification clinical experience.
  • Experience of the inter-disciplinary team working.

  • Experience of working in the area of disabilities and or with children would be an advantage.
