Allied Health Careers is working with an organization that provides acute and specialist mental health services in South Dublin.

As a Senior Occupational Therapist you will play an integral and active role in a friendly, dynamic, and supportive Multidisciplinary Team to make a significant contribution in the area of rehabilitation. This is a permanent, full-time role (37 hours per week).

The Role:

  • Assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation of treatment and intervention programmes for patients and residents.
  • Collaboration with patients and residents, families, carers, and other staff in goal setting and treatment and intervention planning.
  • Participate in and work closely with the multi-disciplinary and healthcare team.
  • Maintain comprehensive clinical records of assessments, interventions, and discussions relating to patients and residents.
  • Manage the practice education of student therapists and promote and engage in the teaching/training/support of others as appropriate.

The Person:

  • Qualified Occupational Therapist and a member of the AOTI
  • Must be registered with CORU
  • 3 years post-qualification clinical experience
  • Experience in the area of mental health rehabilitation, serious and enduring mental health conditions, or cognitive rehabilitation in the area of Acquired Brain Injury.
