Role Senior Grade Occupational Therapist

Duration of Post Temporary – 35 Hours

Location Dublin South, Kildare and West Wicklow (CHO7)

Salary €59,478 – €70,033

The Job Purpose is work as a Senior Grade Occupational Therapist in line with team service plans and objectives and within established professional standards, guidelines and policy. In addition you will support assessment and interventions in line with principles of Children’s Disability Network Teams.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide professional supervision to staff grade OccupationalTherapist on the team
  • Facilitate the placement of and supervise studentOccupational Therapist
  • Be responsible for managing own caseload and forassessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of treatment programs for service users according to service
  • Document all assessments, intervention plans, progressnotes, and reports in accordance with professional standards
  • Collaboratewith children and their families to identify
  • Undertakea key worker/key contact role as required

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelorof Science in Occupational Therapy Studies or equivalent
  • Membershipor eligibility for membership of the Irish Association of Occupational Therapists
  • Minimumof three years satisfactory post qualification experience
  • Experienceof working with children with complex needs
  • Stronginterpersonal, communication skills and command of English
  • Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the OccupationalTherapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU or eligible for
  • Maintainannual registration on the appropriate register at
